Site continues, even without a classroom
By Chris Ginzton
Now that all incoming freshmen are required to take earth science, SITE is no longer a class, but 14 former students are keeping the program alive.
Edna Iverson, the director of SITE club, said that there are two major projects.
"We will be testing the pack river (for water quality)," Iverson said, "and the water festival for the fifth graders in the spring."
This is the first year for the club, so it will be a while before everything is worked out.
Iverson says, "(the club is) in the process of getting organized."
